Piazzolla is a serif typeface that’s certainly not for everybody. The larger and contrasting it gets, the more personality it shows. But it also is very calm and quiet when it at reading sizes. There, its tight leading brings you solid lines and robust paragraphs.

I show 3 possible combinations with Montserrat, that create different moods. All of them are available on Google Fonts for free and are suited for body text.

Overall Magnet is a great blend of dense and loose, thin and tick, straight and angled. It has some unique characteristics but still is restricted enough in its Standard style. I see it best in display text and functional text for an app or UI.

In this review call, I give feedback to Kev Quirk’s personal blog. Fira Sans and Georgia don’t go so well together, the header could be more compact, the styling of info and warning boxes is too striking, and the footer also gets redesigned.
