Question: Hello everybody. I would like to ask why the developer prefer shield ships. If we look at the ships there are higher bonus resistance with shield modules as we can get on armor ships. With the shield bubble added you can get a shield tank up to 95% resistance to all dmg types and with armor i am happy to reach 85% and 80% resists on EM and Thermal dmg. New Eden is the region of space where [[EVE Echoes]] is set. The Star charts menu shows a map of New Eden and allows navigation to nearby systems. It is also possible to set systems for the autopilot to avoid. System security is an indicator of how safe a system is. It is represented by a number where: 1.0 to 0.5 is high security, 0.4 to 0.1 is low security, 0 is no security. Lower security indicates more dangerous enemies, but rarer resources. The Insurance system allows players to recover destroyed ships, including the fittings and the rigs, in any station on their own. Fleets in [[EVE Echoes]] are groups of players formed by players. Fleets can be created in the Fleet menu, one of the menus available after tapping one's character portrait. Once created, players can then begin inviting their friends. The Fleet menu also has a find feature to let players look for a fleet to join.
