I met him on the launch of the DB11 AMR, and he probably did have something to do with it, but I forget BECAUSE Paul was the chief engineer of the V12 Vantage!!! My favorite Aston I’ve ever driven. The car above finished 4th overall yesterday at the @24hnbr. It was in third until a crafty AMG GT3 snuck past with less than 30 minutes to go. 4th place made it both the highest placing British car, and highest placing V-12 engined car to ever compete in the 24 hours of Nürburgring. It’s also an 8-year-old car at this point. Late last night at the bar—and I mean late—we raised a glass to Paul for building such a phenomenal machine. I wish I’d taken a picture of his face. @astonmartinlagonda"
