Over time Dennis has held numerous roles at the Concours. He started by stuffing picnic baskets many years back. More recently he was chosen to escort Sheryl Crow when she visited in 2011. “We made an interesting couple on the green,” says Dennis. “She’s just over 5 feet tall. People kept wondering, ‘Who is that guy with Sheryl Crow?’ It was great!” Back in 2005, Dennis was serving as a Class Host at the far end of the field, when Jay Leno called out his name as the winner of a Ford Explorer! “I jumped up and sprinted all the way to the winners’ ramp. When I got there Jay said, ‘Dennis! You look like you’re going to have a heart attack!’” Dennis had purchased a single raffle ticket. “I was so lucky,” he said, “I had that car for 10 years and bought another four Explorers afterwards!” #pebblebeachconcours 🏆".
