Similar the Demon and some of the other recent sheet metal coming out of the good ole’ US of A, the Ram SRT 10 is absurd. After all, what practical application could you possibly have with putting a Viper engine in a full-size pickup? But since it was produced by Daimler Chrysler’s Performance Vehicle Operations division with the same engineering team that was working on the Viper and Prowler, we wouldn’t really expect any less. The SRT 10 Ram is one of those few moments the the engineers are actually let to run wild and upper management just says F’ it. So yeah because of that, we think it’s worth remembering. Also, it’s a 5,000 lb pickup with a 8.3 L V-10 engine producing 500hp that can do 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds. This example is also one of only 52 Viper Club of America editions that you could only purchase by winning a raffle at the 2004 Daytona Speedway race. So what do you think Chasers?
